The Iowa Department of Transportation is a public agency that works with the road infrastructure and transportation policy of the State of Iowa.
My responsibilities with them centered around their former Network & Cybersecurity Team, which maintained the agency’s networks statewide and their cybersecurity posture.

Network & Cybersecurity Team
The Network & Cybersecurity Team for the Iowa DOT was led by David M. Anderson prior to July 2024. Due to a statewide change to information technology positions, the team has been put into a transitionary phase as it becomes integrated to the Iowa Department of Management. As a result, work performed after July 2024 also includes duties for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team.
